Splunk Startup Instructions - Linux (After Initial Installation)

1. Load the Kali VM that you installed Splunk into.
2. Login (kali/kali)
3. Once logged in, open the Terminal.
4. Type cd /opt/splunk/bin into the Terminal
5. Hit the Enter key
6. Type sudo ./splunk start into the Terminal
7. Hit the Enter key
8. Now, enter the password for the user account you used to login (kali)
9. Splunk should now start
